Paragraph 3

Ivory is an expensive thing that comes from an elephant's tusk.  I'm just wondering, why and who decided that it is something to use for piano keys or whatever else they make out of ivory.  It's expensive because the supply is lower than the demand, that's obvious.  I just want to know when and where it all started.  I also want to know where and how much the killing of elephants for ivory is still going on.  I want to find out what the laws are against it, and what companies still use it.

  1. Researching ivory might be an interesting topic. You will undoubtedly find sources related to Ivory that will be misleading, but linking the keywords of ivory to value or cost or rarity or elephant (or whatever word you find that would be useful) would probably be helpful in your search.
